About the JCTR
The Journal for Christian Theological
Research (JCTR) is an organ of the
Christian Theological Research Fellowship.
The JCTR is a peer-reviewd, indexed, abstracted and archived scholarly journal in systematic and moral theology.
We are proud to participate in the international scientific community of open access publications, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Through the generous support of the DOAJ, the Lund University Libraries, the Swedish Library Association, and the National Library of the Netherlands [Koninklijke Bibliotheek or KB], our articles will soon be archived in the E-depot of the KB as well as being indexed in the DOAJ.
Our International Standard Serials Number (ISSN) is 1087-1624 and our Library of Congress catalog number is BR118.J68.
Contributors are welcome to submit articles to the editor for possible publication.
The JCTR is indexed by the
American Theological Library Association (ATLA)
religion indexing service and the Directory of Open Access
The Journal is abstracted by Religious and Theological Abstracts.

Citing JCTR Articles
After volume 6 (2001), articles in the Journal
should be cited in the standard manner, by volume and page number.
Volumes are now paginated consecutively throughout the entire year for each issue.
For earlier volumes (1-6), paragraph numbers should be used instead of page numbers for ease of reference.
Page numbers are not included in these earlier volumes.
The materials in this journal are copyrighted. The name and logo are copyrighted by the Journal for Christian Theological Research. The articles are copyrighted by the individual authors. The authors are free to publish their respective articles in other venues should they desire to do so. The author should notify the editor of the JCTR and should include a statement that the article first appeared in the JCTR. Individuals and institutions may reproduce these articles on demand. All copies made for whatever purpose must include the author's name, the date of publication, and the notice that the article first appeared in the Journal for Christian Theological Research.
